So today, let’s take a few minutes not thinking about all of the other massive changes to Facebook page functionality and instead take a look at some of the top well-known brands in the online marketing space using the new Facebook pages.

I decided to start off the list with Search Engine Land because their photo goes to show that anything goes with Timeline cover photos. Does this mean that SEL thinks they rock? Maybe. Whatever it is, it is cute!

Kristi this is a smoking article. I cannot believe how awesome these pages look. These companies should be so proud of their selves. As I look at them I only feel bad for how crappy my blog engage Facebook presence is. I just personally upgraded to the timeline I didn’t know this was something you could also do with your business pages. thanks for this it was a nice refreshing article! Perhaps the inspiration I need to try something new as well.

Optimization is the best method of application that bring a continuous satisfaction to ever body, time line is a beautiful set.up that arrange my image collection into its position and year update.. Nothing else could I wish for, but if there’s something more… Great!

  • just updated my page and had to do some quick thinking… the idea is not new but applying it to a business oriented page with all the rules on what you can’t do, I had to figure out what new/returning visitors would find interesting and informative…

Seeing what others are doing is a big help! Thanks for putting this together :)

I switched at once to it but reverted back soon as well since i really don’t like Timeline concept of Facebook , though the Introduction of messages and a very better ADMIN section are the plus points yet more and more people still would prefer the older version but turning to brand timeline is inevitable !
After checking out your mentioned pages well it might be even great if we can customize it with this much of thinking , thanks for your hard work !

    Hi Kristi,

Wow, these are just awesome and very expiring examples. Thank you so much for sharing them! So far, to me, the new timeline for pages looks like a carbon copy of the personal timeline. Maybe I am missing something?

In any case, thanks again for sharing your insights!

    Hi Kristi,

This is the first time Facebook made a big change that I’m happy about! I love the Facebook Page Timeline. Putting restrictions on the cover image is forcing people to be creative and think of unique ways to promote their brands and get their messages across. Looks like HubSpot makes the best use of the apps that they display on their page. Some of those app images are a waste of time and I’m surprised to see that Allfacebook still has the image of the iFrame app showing.
Everyone will be scrambling for the next month to get their pages in order so I think it’s best to start now.
    Thanks Kristi for the previews.

The branding is most important in any business as this is the way you have your name in the market and your traffic know where they have to visit until unless they wont find any thing better than you.

The new updates in Facebook is really suitable for business marketing. You can use the cover photo to attract the customers but you have to choose the right one so they will be intrigued by your services. New startup companies like Branded Bridge Line and also other small businesses should try this one since social media is a very powerful method for marketing.
