Sometimes when dealing with larger businesses, it feels like they put the smaller buys on the back burner.

I agree with being a pest. I also stop work when any client, no matter how who it is, has an invoice over 60 days late.

I post on the boards over at FreelancersUnion.com or other freelance sites to warn other writers against working with the client/company. Even if we’re all competing for the same jobs, I’m not about to throw peers under the proverbial bus!

I’ve had customers cancel when I’m in the middle of doing spotlights but that’s so hard to predict so right now in my WP admin I have featured spotlights of three old customers. I was hoping they would sign up again one day so I could re-use them.
