Another tip I would add is:

&lt;strong&gt;Really&lt;/strong&gt; focus on tweeting for 30 minutes. Not doing other work, but tweeting, interacting and retweeting, in a twitter client.

I once did this and found that doing this was productive instead of turning on your twitter client while doing other work.
